I think the concluding song encapsulates what I most enjoy about this album: a defiant hopefulness that stands against the dark, determined to rise again when its knocked down, determined that it will know hope. archival_blob

What a beautiful, haunting experience all around, always melts me from start to finish. Incredible and deep sound, amazing atmosphere and cohesion, unexpected jazz elements unlike anything I've heard, and don't get me started on the vocals. Really hard to choose a favorite track. dan-rod

thanks Fluisteraars! I just love your music. A very good atmosphérique black metal band with experimental/ ambient passage. This album is literally one of my classics in my black metal journey.
The first time I heard this record, I feel scared and no other album make me feel that. Just, I feel like it's probably my favourite black metal album of all time. Continue in that way ! quentin_milcent
On their latest for the great Goner Records, Memphis group Aquarian Blood reinvent themselves, delivering a batch of spectral dark folk. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 26, 2019

First single from Grave Pleasures stellar sophomore Motherblood. Urgent post-punk/death-rock of the highest calibre, with a fine gloomed-out cold-war vibe b-side not available on the album. Worthy. BlueTempleVisions
